- : I just explained this process to another person on this channel. Check out
- : the hardware/hack section of aminet. No replacements are necessary. I turned
- : my NTSC A500 into a PAL A500 one day (I was bored). It simply requires changing
- : the grounding status of one of the chips on agnus. When grounded, the machine
- : is NTSC, when not grounded, the machine will operate in PAL. I _think_ there
- : are jumper pads on the motherboard to accomplish this. When I did the conversion,
- : I ripped agnus out of her socket and messed around with the contacts on the
- : socket (not recommended!).
-
- I created a nice little hack sheet for that mod on 2000's and 500's...
-
- Check out aminet/hard/hack/PALHAK.LZH
-
- Gives a nice IFF showing what needs to be done... works on ANY REV
- A500/2000.... the circuit design could also be used on 1200/4000's...
-
- Have Fun!
